Housing:
Free Housing option—available on a first come first serve basis; in most cases will require students to bring a sleeping bag or mat
Hotel option—We are partnering with the Clarion at 8601 Baltimore Ave., College Park, MD. Mention the conference to get the reduced rate of $80 per room per night, each of which can hold up to 4 people (if talking to someone who is not coming with other students from their school but wants to share a room, we can put them on a list of other people in the same situation and put them in touch with those people so they can work out their room reservation plan).
The hotel has an included continental breakfast, a 20% discount for participants at the hotel restaurant, and will shuttle students to and from the conference. This deal will be available through October 15, so please be sure to make your reservations before then!
Food—breakfast type foods will be out at the start of the day, lunch will be provided, and we generally are able to offer discounts in partnership with area restaurants for dinners.
Transportation—flying into Reagan International (DCA) is recommended to be able to reach the conference easily via public transit. Baltimore (BWI) is also accessible via public transit. Also look into Megabus, Greyhound, the Chinatown bus, etc. ---responsible for own costs
